U.S. Embassy

Lisbon, Portugal

The Chancery Office Building & Consular Buildings were designed originally by Fred Bassetti in 1980 for the purpose of a U.S. Embassy facility in Lisbon.

The building possesses an effective design, including a major staircase that would connect the Chancery branch with the Consular buildings. However, the initial design of the building did not take into account the use of an elevator which would connect the Consular Building with the Chancery Building.

Cosmopolitan's contributions in this project include the construction of a concrete structure that will house an accessible lift which connects the required areas. In addition to this, Team Cosmo also claimed responsibility of construction security and quality control.
